Job Description

The Cash Delivery Network (CDN) Partnership Coordinator is a high-impact strategic role designed to lead the Collaborative Cash Delivery (CCD) platform at the country level. In an era where cash and voucher assistance (CVA) is becoming the preferred method of humanitarian aid, this position serves as the vital link between multiple international NGOs, UN agencies, and government bodies. The coordinator acts as a convener and strategist, ensuring that the collective power of the CCD members is harnessed to deliver aid faster, more efficiently, and at a greater scale than any single organization could achieve alone.

This role offers a unique "day-in-the-life" experience that blends high-level strategic advocacy with hands-on operational leadership. On any given day, the coordinator might lead a technical working group to modernize cash distribution systems, negotiate with financial service providers to improve aid delivery channels, or collaborate with donors to secure funding for inter-agency initiatives. It is a position of significant influence, requiring the ability to navigate complex political and humanitarian landscapes while maintaining a laser focus on the needs of vulnerable children and families.

Career development is a cornerstone of this role. The coordinator will gain unparalleled experience in consortium management, inter-agency coordination, and humanitarian innovation. By leading the CCD platform, the successful candidate will be at the forefront of digitizing the "cash system" in Ethiopia, working with cutting-edge beneficiary data management systems and modern financial technologies. This exposure positions the individual as a leading expert in the rapidly evolving field of humanitarian cash programming, opening doors to senior leadership opportunities within the global humanitarian sector.

The strategic impact of this position is profound. By streamlining how various agencies deliver cash assistance, the Coordinator reduces duplication of efforts and ensures that resources reach those in need more effectively. This role is not just about administration; it is about building a more resilient and responsive humanitarian ecosystem in Ethiopia. The work performed here directly contributes to the operational readiness of the entire CCD platform, ensuring that when crises hit, the response is immediate, coordinated, and impactful.

Ultimately, this role is about transformation. Through effective stakeholder engagement and knowledge management, the Coordinator ensures that lessons learned in the field are translated into better policies and practices. This cycle of continuous improvement helps World Vision and its partners stay ahead of the curve, constantly finding better ways to serve the most vulnerable. It is a career choice for those who are driven by a desire to innovate and lead in the service of humanity.
