Purpose of Service:

• Provide high-quality, timely, and accurate diagnostic imaging services to UN staff and eligible beneficiaries
• Contribute to improved clinical outcomes, patient safety, and overall healthcare delivery at UNHCC

Work Location: UNHCC, Addis Ababa
Expected Duration: 9 months

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services to UN personnel, their families, and eligible beneficiaries
• Ensure accurate diagnosis to support effective treatment planning and improved patient management
• Maintain the highest standards of medical ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Work collaboratively within a multicultural and multidisciplinary team environment

Qualifications / Special Skills:

• First degree in general medicine with specialization in Radiology
• Current, unrestricted registration with the medical licensing authority of a UN Member State
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience in Radiology
• Experience with electronic medical record systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and common internet applications

Languages:

• Fluency in oral and written English required
• Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage
