The Receptionist / Admin Assistant is often the first point of contact for our visitors, partners, and the communities we serve. Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Office Management, Secretarial Sciences, or a related field.

Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in office management, preferably within an NGO environment.

Proficiency in English and Amharic is required, along with knowledge of the regional language. Familiarity with any other national language is considered a significant asset in our multi-cultural working environment.

Technical proficiency is a must, specifically with Microsoft Office systems (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and general office equipment. Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures and office administration protocols will give you a competitive edge.

Strong interpersonal and team-building skills are vital, as you will coordinate staff care events, birthdays, and anniversaries. You should be a self-starter who is internally driven toward success and hard work.

Physical resilience is required as the role involves standing, walking, and occasionally lifting or moving items. You must also be comfortable working in a fluid security context and traveling in-country when necessary.
