Job Description and Strategic Impact

The National Program Officer (Disability Inclusion) position plays a critical role in advancing disability-inclusive programming and ensuring that persons with disabilities are meaningfully included in IOM's humanitarian, protection, and development interventions.This role contributes directly to strengthening accessibility, participation, and inclusion across projects and operational activities. The successful candidate will help ensure that disability inclusion principles are integrated into planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes.The position serves as a key technical resource within the organization, supporting programme teams, field offices, and partners in implementing disability-inclusive approaches that align with international standards and best practices. Through technical guidance and capacity building, the officer will help strengthen organizational commitment to inclusion.On a day-to-day basis, the National Program Officer will coordinate disability inclusion activities, conduct consultations with stakeholders, support assessments and research initiatives, facilitate training sessions, monitor project implementation, and contribute to reports and proposals.The role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about social inclusion, protection programming, human rights, and disability advocacy.
