The Finance Officer position is a critical role within the International Organization for Migration's Ethiopia Country Office and Special Liaison Office. Finance OfficerEducational Qualification: Master's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with at least two years of relevant professional experience; OR University Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field with at least four years of relevant professional experience. Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CIMA, or ACCA are advantageous.Work Experience: Experience in accounting, financial management, financial reporting, budget management, audit support, internal control assessment, and work with international organizations. Previous experience in emergency operations and regional assignments is an advantage.Job Location: Addis Ababa, EthiopiaSalary: Negotiable/Per ScaleNo. Required: 1The position requires strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budget monitoring, and financial reporting. Candidates should be capable of supporting complex financial operations while maintaining compliance with organizational and donor requirements.Applicants must demonstrate experience in preparing accurate financial reports and management reports. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for maintaining financial accountability and transparency.The successful candidate will assist in monitoring programme budgets, reviewing accounting transactions, supporting payroll allocations, and ensuring compliance with established financial regulations and procedures.Experience with internal and external audit processes is highly desirable.
