Job Description
The Manager of the Procurement Division is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities of the bank. The position operates under the supervision of the Director of the Procurement and Facilities Management Department.
The role focuses on planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and controlling procurement operations to ensure the effective acquisition of goods and services required by the bank.
The successful candidate will ensure that procurement activities are carried out efficiently, transparently, and in accordance with the bank’s operational priorities.
The position requires implementing procurement policies and procedures that align with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
The Procurement Division Manager will oversee procurement planning to ensure the timely availability of goods, equipment, and services needed by different departments.
Another key responsibility includes managing procurement processes that guarantee cost efficiency and value for money.
The role also involves ensuring that procurement activities comply with internal controls, regulatory frameworks, and ethical procurement standards.
The manager will lead efforts to strengthen procurement governance and improve operational procedures within the procurement unit.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold one of the following academic qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, or related fields
• Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management, or other closely related disciplines

Work Experience
Relevant professional experience is required depending on the educational qualification of the applicant.
For candidates with a Master’s degree, a minimum of six years of relevant work experience is required.
For candidates with a Bachelor’s degree, a minimum of eight years of relevant professional experience is required.
Experience in procurement or supply chain management within the banking sector or financial institutions is highly preferred.
Applicants must also demonstrate leadership experience within procurement or related operational roles.
For Master’s degree holders, at least two years must be in a principal officer role or three years in a senior officer position.
For Bachelor’s degree holders, at least three years must be in a principal officer role or four years in a senior officer position.
Experience in procurement planning, vendor management, contract administration, and supply chain coordination will be considered highly advantageous.
