Job Description
The Field Coordinator – Cash Assistant role is designed to support and coordinate field-level cash assistance operations. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that emergency cash transfer programs are implemented effectively, transparently, and in alignment with organizational standards.
The role involves overseeing and guiding cash distribution activities, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and internal policies. The Field Coordinator works closely with program teams, finance staff, community representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth field operations.
Key responsibilities include coordinating beneficiary registration processes, supporting verification and reconciliation activities, and ensuring accurate reporting and documentation. The position requires strong leadership and organizational skills to manage field-based activities efficiently.
The Field Coordinator ensures that accountability mechanisms are functional and that feedback from beneficiaries is properly documented and addressed. This contributes to transparency and trust within communities.
The role also involves ensuring strict adherence to child safeguarding, anti-fraud, and anti-corruption policies. The coordinator must model integrity and promote ethical standards within the team.
This position directly contributes to improving the resilience of vulnerable households through effective cash-based interventions.

Educational Qualification
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as:
- Economics
- Finance
- Accounting
- Business Administration
- Development Studies
- Social Sciences
- Or other related disciplines
Advanced training or certifications in project management or humanitarian response are considered an advantage.
Work Experience
Relevant professional experience in humanitarian programming, cash transfer projects, or development operations is required.
Experience in field coordination and managing multi-stakeholder projects is highly desirable.
Candidates with experience in emergency response settings will be particularly competitive.
Demonstrated experience in financial tracking, reporting, and compliance is important for this role.
Previous work in international NGOs or large-scale development programs is an added advantage.
