Job Description
The People & Culture – Senior Associate III plays a central role in managing human resource functions and supporting organizational effectiveness. The role contributes directly to building a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring HR compliance and operational efficiency.
The job holder will manage recruitment processes, employee records, training coordination, and performance management support activities. The position also serves as a key point of contact for employees on HR-related matters.
The core responsibility is to ensure that HR strategies and daily operations align with the firm’s business objectives while maintaining confidentiality, professionalism, and high standards of service delivery.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Supporting the development and execution of HR plans as guided by management.
- Implementing HR policies, procedures, and programs within approved frameworks.
- Maintaining and updating job descriptions and job requirements for all positions.
- Supporting the execution of personnel management policies and procedures.
In the area of employee relations, the role involves:
- Acting as a point of contact for employees regarding HR matters.
- Addressing concerns, grievances, and workplace issues while escalating complex cases when necessary.
- Supporting supervisors in managing employee relations cases.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive, and professional work environment.
For recruitment and onboarding, responsibilities include:
- Coordinating recruitment activities such as job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
- Participating in interviews and providing recommendations to management.
- Facilitating onboarding and induction programs for new hires.
- Preparing employment documentation and reviewing contracts before final approval.
Under performance management and training functions, the role will:
- Support the implementation of performance appraisal systems.
- Coordinate performance evaluations for associates and senior associates.
- Compile performance reports for management review.
- Identify training needs in collaboration with supervisors.
- Coordinate and monitor training programs while tracking effectiveness.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Maintaining HR databases and ensuring accurate and confidential record keeping.
- Preparing HR reports and analytics to support informed decision-making.
- Ensuring compliance with Ethiopian labor law and company regulations.
- Supporting HR audits and internal reviews.
- Performing additional duties as assigned by the HR Manager or Advisory Partner.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must hold:
- A Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Management, Human Resource Management, Business Management, or a related field.

Work Experience

- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resource Management or related fields.
