Job Description
The System Engineer: VAS role focuses on the design, implementation, and maintenance of Value-Added Services platforms within the telecommunications ecosystem.
This role is essential in enabling innovative services such as messaging, voice applications, and service delivery platforms that enhance customer experience.
The position involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, followed by development, testing, and deployment of VAS applications.
The engineer will conduct research and proof-of-concept activities to explore new technologies that improve system performance and user experience.
A key responsibility is implementing business requirements, including building USSD menus, integrating backend APIs, and testing services on VAS platforms.
The role also requires continuous improvement of codebases to ensure optimal performance and reliability of VAS services.
Collaboration is central to this position, as the engineer will work closely with project teams and stakeholders to design and launch new features.
The job includes troubleshooting technical issues, fixing bugs, and setting up infrastructure to support service delivery.
