Humanity & Inclusion (HI) is an independent and impartial international aid organization working in situations of poverty, exclusion, conflict, and disaster. Following a successful consortium lifesaving response (ECHO 2.0), HI has formed a new consortium with HelpAge International, Rehabilitation and Development Organization (RADO), and FEAPD to implement integrated, multi-sectoral lifesaving services in Tigray and Amhara regions under DG ECHO HIP 2024.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for implementing the assigned project in line with HI’s mandate and 10-year strategy. The role ensures optimal project quality, impact, compliance, and accountability through effective leadership, coordination, and oversight. The Project Manager shares responsibility with other HI managers for the sound management and effective functioning of the organization.

The Project Manager will lead and manage project teams, translate strategic objectives into operational plans, oversee project implementation in line with approved proposals, logical frameworks, and budgets, ensure timely internal and external reporting, manage delegated budgets, coordinate with partners, ensure proper documentation and data management, ensure compliance with HI institutional policies and donor requirements, contribute to monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, emergency preparedness, and represent HI in relevant coordination forums when required.

Education:
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Social Development, Humanitarian Studies, or a related field from a recognized university.

Experience:
Six (6) years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree. Proven experience managing humanitarian projects in complex or challenging contexts, experience working in consortium projects, experience in disability inclusion and protection programming, and strong project cycle management skills. Experience working with multicultural and multidisciplinary teams is required.

Other Requirements:
Strong leadership and team management skills, excellent communication and reporting abilities, capacity to manage budgets and donor compliance (DG-ECHO), knowledge of PME, PSEAH, and Age-Gender-Disability policies, and ability to respond effectively in emergency contexts.
