Job Positions and Requirements
  1. Senior Technical Expert I: Mobile Application Developer (Re-advert)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields from a recognized institution.

Work Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience for Bachelor’s Degree holders or 6 years for Master’s Degree holders in mobile application development.

Job Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (Secondment to Ministry of Agriculture)

Salary: Negotiable / Per Scale

No. Required: One

The successful candidate will design, develop, maintain, and optimize mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. Strong experience with Flutter, React Native, Native Android, Native iOS Development, RESTful APIs, mobile security, offline synchronization, and performance optimization is required.

Applicants should possess expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Dart, Java, Kotlin, Swift, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), Git, Docker, and CI/CD practices. Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently are highly desirable.

  1. Senior Procurement Officer

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supply Management, Purchasing and Supply Management, or other related fields.

Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience for Bachelor’s Degree holders or 4 years for Master’s Degree holders. Prior experience as a Senior Procurement Officer is advantageous.

Job Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Salary: Negotiable / Per Scale

The successful candidate will oversee procurement planning, contract administration, supplier relationship management, tendering processes, procurement reporting, LC operations, customs clearance activities, and compliance with procurement policies and regulations.

Applicants should possess strong procurement expertise, negotiation skills, reporting and presentation abilities, vendor management experience, contract administration knowledge, and proficiency in procurement systems and procedures.

Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, leadership ability, effective communication skills, adaptability, and the capacity to manage multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.

Employment Type and Compensation

Both positions are offered on a full-time contractual basis with an initial employment period of one year and the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs.
