Job Description
Plan International Ethiopia is looking for a qualified CPIE and GBV Assistant to support emergency child protection and GBV interventions in Gambella.

The role focuses on supporting the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of protection interventions in both refugee and host community settings.

The assistant will help ensure safe, rights-based, and survivor-centered services for children, adolescents, women, and vulnerable groups.

A key responsibility of the role is to support case management activities, ensuring that cases are handled in line with donor requirements and inter-agency protection standards.

The position requires close collaboration with volunteer social workers, community structures, local partners, and humanitarian actors.

The role holder will serve as Plan International’s representative at the grassroots level, maintaining direct and frequent engagement with beneficiary communities.

This role plays an important part in protecting vulnerable children and survivors of violence while strengthening community-based support systems.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

Work Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience in humanitarian CPiE and/or GBV programming is required.

Applicants should have hands-on experience in emergency response, protection programming, or community-based case support.
