Job Description
The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial decision-making processes.

This role plays a key part in maintaining transparency, accountability, and efficiency in financial operations.

The position involves working closely with the administration and finance team to ensure proper budgeting, reporting, and auditing processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing budget requisition and implementation processes
  • Verifying payment orders and financial transactions
  • Ensuring compliance with IPSAS and regulatory standards
  • Preparing financial reports including balance sheets and income statements
  • Conducting bank reconciliations
  • Monitoring revenues and expenditures
  • Verifying payroll accuracy and financial records
  • Maintaining general ledger and subsidiary accounts
  • Preparing payables and receivables schedules
  • Supporting internal and external audit processes
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial documentation

Educational Qualification
