Job Summary
The Customer Service Officer (Maker) provides front office customer service support at the branch, handling account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, responding to customer enquiries, and managing cash and non-cash transactions. The Customer Service Officer (Checker) is responsible for checking and authorizing front office transactions, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure manuals, and responding to customer enquiries in line with authorization limits.

Academic and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field such as Marketing Management, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or any equivalent field.

Experience
Two (2) years of relevant work experience.

Functional/Technical Competencies

  • Understanding of general financial products and services.
  • Good knowledge of bank accounting and procedures.
  • Ability to respond to client enquiries and resolve most issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and core banking systems.
