SOS Children’s Villages Ethiopia, established in 1974, supports children who have lost or are at risk of losing parental care through programs in seven locations across the country.
Role Summary:
The FSCP Coordinator will lead, coordinate, and oversee multi-sectoral development projects focusing on child protection, health, livelihood, and education. The role includes project planning, implementation, monitoring, budget management, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring compliance with donor and safeguarding policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement project activities across multiple sectors.
- Manage budgets and ensure donor compliance.
- Monitor and report project progress and impact.
- Build capacity of partners, community groups, and local authorities.
- Ensure safeguarding, gender equality, and child protection standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s in Disaster Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years (preferred 6–7) in managing development or humanitarian projects.
- Proven skills in coordination, reporting, budgeting, and community mobilization.
- Strong communication, leadership, and analytical abilities.
- Ability to travel frequently and speak the local language.
