Responsibilities
The role supports the Institutional Repository multimedia project by collecting, organizing, cataloguing, digitizing and preserving ECA’s multimedia materials. Tasks include reviewing and selecting videos, speeches, photos and press releases; creating inventories by physical format; performing descriptive cataloguing with full metadata; assigning classification numbers; conducting quality control checks; uploading and linking full-text files; scanning photos and documents with standardized naming; converting files into archival formats; and supporting other tasks given by the project manager.

Required Qualifications
High school certificate or equivalent.
Diploma in Library or Information Science or a related field is an advantage.

Required Experience
Minimum five years in libraries, archives, information management, technical services, information networks or related fields.

Skills
Knowledge of cataloguing standards and metadata.
Experience in digitization and multimedia archiving.
Accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational ability.

Languages
Fluency in written and spoken English and/or French.
Knowledge of the other language is an advantage.
