This position is within the Information and Communications Technology Services Section (ICTSS) of the Division of Publications, Conference, and Knowledge Management (PCKMD).
About the Role
The Senior Information Technology Assistant will serve as a key link between ICTSS and business units, ensuring effective client engagement, ICT service alignment, and operational efficiency. The role includes managing cost recovery frameworks, supporting ICT projects, and enhancing data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for ICTSS clients and ensure service delivery aligns with business needs.
- Support ICT service design, delivery, and communication with users.
- Collect and analyze ICT service cost and usage data for cost recovery frameworks.
- Contribute to project documentation, business analysis, and user training.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for management.
- Promote adoption of new ICT solutions through awareness and change management activities.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and mentor junior ICT staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a first-level university degree is an asset.
- At least 10 years of experience in ICT service support, client engagement, or business analysis (8 years if holding a degree).
- Experience in financial management or cost recovery models is desirable.
- Knowledge of data analytics, ICT infrastructure, and system networks preferred.
- Strong English skills required; French is desirable.
