Job Description

The Senior Project Officer II for Agribusiness in Livestock is a critical technical role focused on the implementation of the ADEY program within the Somali Region. This position is strategically vital for transforming traditional livestock practices into commercially viable youth-led enterprises. The officer will oversee interventions in dairy, poultry, and apiculture, ensuring that young entrepreneurs have the necessary support to thrive in these high-potential value chains.

On a day-to-day basis, the Senior Project Officer manages the planning and execution of agribusiness activities, ensuring they align with the program's overarching goal of job creation. Educational Qualification: Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Animal Science, Livestock Production, Livestock Production and Management, or a closely related field of study.

Work Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience specifically in livestock agribusiness, livestock value chain development, or donor-supported agricultural projects.
