Job Description
Wegagen Bank is seeking highly motivated and qualified professionals to fill four critical positions at our Head Office. These roles are essential to our mission of delivering accessible, reliable, and modern financial services to our diverse clientele. From streamlining organizational efficiency and managing human capital to securing digital assets and overseeing financial liquidity, each position is designed to uphold the bank’s high operational standards.

1- Senior Organizational Development Officer
This role focuses on enhancing institutional effectiveness. You will conduct organizational studies and design interventions to optimize performance and align human capital with strategic goals.
Educational Qualification
BA Degree in Management, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related business fields.
Work Experience
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with at least 1 year in a Senior Officer or equivalent position.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of organizational design and performance management frameworks.
2- Principal HR Business Partner
This role serves as a strategic link between HR and bank districts. You will oversee recruitment, performance management, and employee relations to maintain a motivated workforce.
Educational Qualification
BA Degree in Human Resource Management, Management, Business Administration, or equivalent fields.
Work Experience
Minimum of 5 to 6 years of banking experience, with at least 1 year served as a Senior HR Business Partner.
Required Skills and Competencies
Proven ability to manage complex employee relations and thorough knowledge of Ethiopian labor laws and HR best practices.
3- Manager, Digital Banking Audit
This role is responsible for the oversight and security of the bank’s digital infrastructure. You will audit digital products and ensure compliance with internal policies and national regulations.
Educational Qualification
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or related technical fields.
Work Experience
Minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or principal-level audit capacity.
Required Skills and Competencies
Technical expertise in cybersecurity, digital financial systems, and modern information system audit techniques.
4- Manager, Asset and Liability Management
This role focuses on financial health by managing liquidity, interest rate risks, and investment portfolios. You will play a key role in ensuring financial stability and optimizing income.
Educational Qualification
Master’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, or other related quantitative business fields.
Work Experience
Minimum of 10 to 12 years of banking experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role within treasury or risk management.
Required Skills and Competencies
Advanced financial modelling skills and a profound understanding of balance sheet management and market dynamics.
