Job Description
The Cleaner/Cook will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and organized office environment while also preparing meals for staff.

This role plays a key part in supporting the daily operations of the organization by ensuring that staff can work in a safe and comfortable setting.

The position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and a positive service-oriented attitude.

You will follow organizational policies, procedures, and safety standards at all times.

You will prepare and submit basic work reports and support improvements in daily operations when needed.

Key Cleaning Responsibilities
You will clean all office floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and spot-cleaning carpets.

You will ensure that washrooms are clean, hygienic, and fully stocked with soap, tissue, and hand towels.

You will clean windows, offices, meeting rooms, and common areas on a daily basis.

You will dust, disinfect, and polish furniture and surfaces.

You will remove trash, empty waste bins, and keep the office environment orderly.

You will maintain the kitchen area and wash all utensils.

Key Cooking Responsibilities
You will prepare and cook daily meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to the office meal plan.

You will maintain kitchen hygiene before, during, and after food preparation.

You will monitor food supplies and inform the administration team when items need restocking.

You will follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure meals are safe and fresh.

You will serve tea, refreshments, and meals to staff and visitors in a professional manner.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have completed at least elementary or secondary school education.

A certificate of secondary education is an added advantage.

Work Experience
At least two years of experience working in similar cleaning and cooking roles is required.

Experience working with international or humanitarian organizations is highly preferred.

Previous experience in complex or emergency environments will be an advantage.

Required Skills and Competencies
Basic understanding of English is required.

Strong attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and detail.

Friendly, patient, and respectful attitude.

Ability to work in insecure or high-pressure environments.

Good planning and time management skills.

Creative and flexible in food preparation and presentation.
