Job Purpose
The TSFP Coordinator is responsible for the overall management and implementation of World Vision Ethiopia Emergency Livelihood and Nutrition activities in assigned woredas. The role ensures effective coordination, integration, and quality delivery of project activities in close collaboration with WVE managers, sector leads, partners, and government stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish and supervise Food Security, Livelihood, and Nutrition activities
• Work with sector leads to analyze needs and identify appropriate activities and locations
• Contribute to concept notes and project proposals using integrated, multi-sector approaches
• Ensure quality implementation of FSL and Nutrition activity packages
• Develop Detailed Implementation Plans, procurement plans, and supply plans
• Develop and adapt M&E tools in collaboration with MEAL teams
• Participate in and conduct rapid needs assessments with relevant sectors
• Strengthen community-based detection and referral networks through mobilization
• Prepare timely procurement requests and monitor nutrition stocks and consumption
• Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, fleet, hub leads, and HO technical teams
People Management and Staff Development
• Conduct staff appraisals and support development of individual work plans
• Organize and deliver trainings, on-the-job coaching, mentoring, and supervision
• Lead monthly team meetings to review progress and address implementation challenges
• Support staff leave planning, attendance monitoring, and performance follow-up
Operations, Reporting, and Strategy
• Contribute to WVE Food Security, Livelihood, and Nutrition strategies
• Monitor and analyze regional FSL and nutrition trends and emerging risks
• Support preparation of project proposals, budgets, BoQs, and HR plans
• Ensure timely and high-quality monthly, quarterly, and final reports
• Ensure adherence to reporting and documentation standards
• Represent World Vision Ethiopia to donors, authorities, and partners
Internal and External Coordination
• Participate in coordination forums at regional, zonal, and woreda levels
• Maintain strong networks with INGOs, LNGOs, government, and technical partners
• Share updates on WVE FSL and Nutrition activities in coordination meetings
• Provide technical inputs aligned with WVE strategies and guidelines
• Document and share meeting minutes and agreed action points
Education and Training
• Master’s Degree or BA/BSc in Food Security and Livelihoods, Public Nutrition, or related fields
• Certification or training in Food Security and Livelihoods
• CMAM training
• Nutrition and livelihood assessments or surveys
Professional Experience
• Minimum five years of NGO experience in emergency Food Security, Livelihood, and Nutrition programs
• Proven experience managing multi-sector FSL and Nutrition projects
Required Skills
• Strong teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt
