The role reports directly to the Country Lead – Financial Control.
Key Purpose Statement
Responsible for leading and managing the Accounts Payable team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all vendor invoices and payments. The role focuses on maintaining strong internal controls, optimizing AP processes, fostering team performance, and supporting the Finance function in achieving operational efficiency and financial integrity.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Accounts Payable Operations – Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments in compliance with company policies.
Team Leadership and Supervision – Lead and support the Accounts Payable team to achieve operational excellence.
Compliance and Internal Controls – Enforce adherence to financial regulations and internal control standards.
Vendor and Stakeholder Management – Maintain effective relationships with vendors and internal teams.
Reporting and Analysis – Prepare and analyze payable reports for financial accuracy and informed decision-making.
Systems and Process Improvement – Streamline processes and enhance systems to boost efficiency and accuracy.
Skills, Experience & Education
BA Degree in Accounting and Finance
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in the FMCG industry
General Requirement
