Job Description
Amref Health Africa in Ethiopia is seeking a Service Delivery Technical Advisor to provide strategic and technical leadership for integrated protection and Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) services.

This role is part of the Future4Binti (F4B) project, a gender-transformative and conflict-sensitive initiative. The project aims to address harmful practices such as female genital mutilation, child marriage, and other vulnerabilities affecting adolescent girls and young women.

The position focuses on ensuring that high-quality, inclusive, and accessible services are delivered across all levels of the health system.

The advisor will work closely with government institutions, health facilities, community organizations, and partners to strengthen coordination and service delivery.

A key aspect of the role is ensuring that services are survivor-centered, adolescent-friendly, disability-inclusive, and responsive to climate and conflict challenges.

The advisor will support the integration of protection and SRH services in alignment with national policies and guidelines in Ethiopia.

The role also involves strengthening referral systems, ensuring that survivors receive timely and appropriate care and support.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Public Health, Reproductive Health, Social Work, Gender Studies, or a related field.

This academic background is essential to provide the technical expertise required for the role.

Work Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in protection and/or sexual and reproductive health programming.

Experience working within Ethiopia’s health and protection systems is highly desirable.

Experience in humanitarian or pastoralist settings will be considered an added advantage.

Candidates with proven experience in capacity building and technical supervision will stand out.

Required Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of gender-based violence (GBV), child protection, and adolescent SRH policy frameworks in Ethiopia is required.

Candidates must demonstrate strong strategic thinking and the ability to integrate services across different systems.

Excellent facilitation, training, and mentoring skills are essential for building capacity among stakeholders.

The ability to work effectively in diverse and challenging environments is important.

Strong communication and coordination skills are needed to engage with multiple partners and stakeholders.

A high level of professionalism, ethical conduct, and commitment to safeguarding is mandatory.

Job Location
The position is based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with potential travel to different regions as required by the project.
