Job Summary
The Senior IT Program Management Officer works under the supervision and guidance of the immediate supervisor and supports the planning, coordination, execution, and monitoring of IT programs and projects. The role ensures that initiatives are delivered within scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards while aligning with the Bank’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning, coordinating, and managing IT programs and multiple related projects.
Support development of program plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
Monitor project progress, milestones, risks, and issues, and report status to management.
Coordinate with business units, IT teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
Support implementation of project management standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Assist in risk management, change management, and issue resolution.
Maintain comprehensive program and project documentation, reports, and dashboards.
Support testing, deployment, and transition of IT solutions into production.
Ensure compliance with internal IT policies, governance frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
Provide guidance and support to junior staff involved in IT programs and projects.
Participate in post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
Education
BSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 4 years of relevant IT experience, preferably involving project or program management activities.
Skills and Competencies
Good understanding of IT project and program management principles and methodologies.
Familiarity with SDLC, system implementation, and change management processes.
Strong planning, coordination, and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks under supervision.
High level of professionalism, integrity, and teamwork.
