Job Description
The Senior Import Documentation Officer / Import Documentation Officer ensures that all import-related activities are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with regulations.

This role is critical in maintaining smooth international supply chain operations and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support project execution.

The officer prepares, reviews, and verifies import documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.

The officer ensures compliance with customs and import regulations and resolves discrepancies promptly.

Accurate record-keeping is required for all shipments, including compliance and transactional documentation.

The role involves working closely with customs brokers to facilitate smooth clearance of goods.

The officer responds to inquiries and resolves issues arising during customs inspections.

Timely and compliant delivery of imported goods to project sites is a key responsibility.

The officer coordinates with suppliers and logistics partners to monitor shipment status and delivery timelines.

Regular communication with vendors is necessary to ensure adherence to delivery schedules.

The officer monitors import expenses, including duties, taxes, and transportation costs, to maintain cost efficiency.
