Job Overview
World Vision is seeking a Regional Grant Finance Capacity Building Specialist to lead the design and delivery of tools, resources, and training on grant management and local capacity strengthening. The specialist will simplify complex donor regulations, mentor grant staff, and support regional offices in building compliance and grant management capacity.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Master’s or specialized certification in Grants Management/Training preferred)

Experience

  • Minimum 5–7 years managing public or private grants, preferably in an international NGO environment
  • Experience in training and coaching others on complex grant finance and acquisition content
  • Experience working with regional, national, or field offices in capacity building and strengthening

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and simplify content on donor rules and regulations for USG, Global Fund, UN, and other donors
  • Create and maintain training materials and team sites
  • Provide direct mentoring and coaching to grant and partner staff
  • Design and deliver in-person, online, and hybrid trainings
  • Participate in meetings, devotionals, retreats, and other organizational activities
  • Support projects as required, ensuring grant compliance and capacity development
  • Analyse, design, develop, implement, and evaluate programs and projects
  • Travel internationally up to 20% for training and capacity-building activities

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to simplify complex information and solve problems strategically
  • Strong instructional design, facilitation, and mentoring skills
  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and ability to work in diverse environments
  • Proficiency in English; Professional French preferred
  • Experience with tools like Adobe Captivate, Articulate, Raptivity, Camtasia, Power BI is a plus

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Global Fund or other multilateral donors
  • Knowledge of localization and local capacity strengthening in international development
  • Expertise in analysis, media, and learning tool usage
