About the Role:
FHI 360 is seeking a Protection Caseworker to support humanitarian projects in Northern Ethiopia. The role involves providing programmatic, administrative, technical, and operational support to ensure smooth project implementation, reporting, and coordination in the areas of health, nutrition, WASH, and protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support including scheduling, calendar management, and expense tracking.
- Prepare notes, memos, and materials for meetings, events, conferences, and workshops.
- Support logistical arrangements and maintain project files, documents, and communication materials.
- Assist in travel planning, expense reporting, and financial processing for staff and consultants.
- Support project reporting, data collection, and technical analysis.
- Contribute to proposal management, document formatting, and business development activities.
- Maintain electronic filing systems, document management sites, and record keeping.
- Assist with technical support in development and dissemination of tools, reports, and materials.
- Provide IT, security, HR, and operational support as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate degree or equivalent in Civil Society, Communication, Social Marketing, Economic Development, Education, Health, Nutrition, Research, Technology, or related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant administrative or NGO experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard office technologies.
- Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
