Property Management Officer

Job Summary
The Property Management Officer will operationally report to the Regional Operational Manager and functionally to the ATI Head Office Logistics Director. The role is responsible for regional property/asset management and day-to-day warehouse operations in accordance with government policies and ATI procedures. The officer will track, update, and report region-based property through ERP and IFMIS systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Track, record, update, and report all regional property and asset management transactions using ERP and IFMIS.
  • Ensure warehouse policies are implemented and adhered to.
  • Receive, issue, and manage goods according to ATI warehousing policies.
  • Ensure proper accounting, maintenance, and cleanliness of stored items.
  • Prepare and organize goods receiving notes and store materials appropriately.
  • Issue goods against authorized requisitions and track processes from inception to completion.
  • Report on wrong deliveries, damaged goods, surplus, or shortages.
  • Arrange for quality inspections of received goods.
  • Maintain accurate stock records (Bin Cards) and keep postings up to date.
  • Prepare and submit warehouse reports to the Operations Director and Logistics Manager.
  • Organize annual and semi-annual inventories and submit reports to headquarters and regional operations manager.
  • Coordinate and monitor property handling of furniture, office equipment, and fixed assets.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Management, Economics, or a relevant field.

Experience
At least 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 2 years with a master’s degree (recent experience as Property Officer preferred).

Skills & Competencies

  • Knowledge of government property administration practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Amharic; additional languages are an asset.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with multiple units and staff.
  • Strong teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
  • Professional and ethical behavior in service delivery.
