Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, implementation, monitoring, and successful delivery of donor-funded projects.

This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, within budget, and in compliance with donor agreements, organizational policies, and national regulations.

The Project Manager serves as a key link between program teams, senior management, donors, and support functions.

You will lead work planning, oversee performance, manage risks, and ensure high-quality reporting and compliance.

The role includes supervising Project Officers, strengthening staff capacity, and promoting accountability and learning across projects.

This position offers significant professional growth through leadership of multi-project portfolios and exposure to donor engagement and strategic decision-making.

Educational Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field from a recognized institution.

A Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Work Experience
Minimum of 7 to 10 years of progressive experience managing NGO or development projects.

Proven experience managing donor-funded projects is required.

Demonstrated experience supervising Project Managers or senior program staff is highly desirable.

Job Location
Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, with frequent field travel.

Employment Type and Salary
Full-time, fixed-term contract.

Initial duration is 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
