Job Description:
The Procurement Officer I will be responsible for supporting procurement activities and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services required by the organization. You will assist in sourcing suppliers, evaluating quotations, managing purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies. This role is critical in maintaining cost-effectiveness, operational efficiency, and high-quality standards in the company’s supply chain. The position offers exposure to procurement strategy, contract management, and vendor relationship development, providing a strong foundation for career advancement.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Logistics & Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
Work Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year proven and relevant post-qualification experience in a similar procurement or supply chain role.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in computer applications and procurement software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity, discipline, and ethical conduct.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and accuracy.
