Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Accounting, Business Finance, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of work experience, preferably in a Sales and Marketing field within the aviation industry.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time, and meet deadlines, even under pressure.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work in a demanding environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and MS Office.
- Fluency in the Amharic and English language (oral and written) is mandatory.
- A third language is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Take a lead in identifying, screening, and pursuing new sales opportunities and clients in the related field.
- Build and maintain a strong client relationship to ensure smooth operations and good sales.
- Handle client complaints and ensure prompt follow-up, and provide solutions where deemed necessary.
- Prepare and update sales proposals, presentation materials, and contracts.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of sales efforts.
- Report sales results and forecasts to the appropriate level of management.
- Research new products and services to ensure compliance with the market.
- Perform market research, as required, and analyze market trends and competitors.
- Develop promotional plans and marketing materials/collaterals for use in the market to generate sales.
- Coordinate with operations, finance, and other departments to ensure smooth work flow.
- Participate in industry trade shows, fairs, and company publicity.
- Assist the Sales and Marketing Manager in all areas, as required.
- Handle all other relevant duties assigned by the company.
- Comply with the Company’s rules, regulations, and all governmental laws and regulations.
