Pharmacy Supervisor – MEET Project

About the Position
MSF-Belgium is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor – MEET Project to ensure effective pharmacy management and supply chain operations in line with MSF standards. The role ensures proper storage, efficient stock management, quality assurance, and safe delivery of drugs and medical materials across MEET project intervention areas.

Key Responsibilities

Pharmacy & Supply Chain Management
Ensure proper storage conditions including temperature, humidity, hygiene, and pest control.
Supervise stock management processes and maintain accurate records.
Coordinate delivery, reception, and documentation of local and international medical orders.
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, consumption patterns, and report shortages or overstock.

Dispensing & Operational Support
Supervise drug dispensing activities in accordance with medical prescriptions.
Ensure cold-chain items and controlled drugs are handled according to MSF protocols.
Support dependent pharmacies and avoid stock ruptures or expired items.
Participate in MEET intervention activities and support medical warehouse operations.

Data & Reporting
Record all stock movements in Isystock and provide weekly backups.
Conduct monthly stock analysis including pre-expired, near-expiry, overstock, and sleeping stock.
Prepare pharmacy situation reports and contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting.

Team Leadership & Training
Supervise pharmaceutical and nursing staff including scheduling, performance evaluation, and training.
Coach staff on rational drug use and consumption follow-up.
Assist in updating the project Medical Standard List (MSL).

Compliance & Documentation
Ensure adherence to MSF guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards.
Maintain proper documentation, archiving, and Digital Desk management.

Required Qualifications

Education:
BSc Degree in Pharmacy (Essential)
Valid professional license

Experience:
Minimum 2 years experience in a pharmacy supervisory role
NGO/MSF experience is an advantage

Languages:
Excellent written and spoken English
Knowledge of local languages is an added value

Salary & Benefits
Starting Gross Salary: 1009 USD per month
