Job Description:
FH Ethiopia is seeking qualified, motivated, and skilled professionals to fill multiple positions within its programs in the Amhara region. Selected candidates will play a vital role in implementing projects that strengthen community infrastructure, improve livelihoods, and ensure food security. Position 1: Infrastructure Officer
- Plan, design, and supervise construction and maintenance of community infrastructure.
- Ensure project delivery meets quality standards, timelines, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with program teams, local authorities, contractors, and community members.
- Contribute to the long-term development and sustainability of community facilities.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any engineering-related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years in infrastructure planning, design, or project management.
- Required Number of Positions: 10
Position 2: Cash/Commodity and Food Transfer Officer
- Manage and monitor cash-based and commodity transfer programs.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of resources to target communities.
- Maintain documentation, reporting, and accountability standards.
- Support needs assessment and program evaluation to enhance impact.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Work Experience: 2 to 3 years in cash transfer, financial management, or related programs.
- Required Number of Positions: 22
Position 3: Livelihood & Agriculture and Early Warning Officer
- Implement programs supporting agricultural productivity, food security, and risk reduction.
- Work with farmers, extension workers, and program teams to adopt sustainable practices.
- Develop and monitor early warning systems for disaster and food insecurity.
- Analyze program outcomes and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years in agriculture, livelihoods, or early warning programs.
- Required Number of Positions: 27
