Menschen Fuer Menschen Foundation invites qualified and motivated applicants for the following vacant positions.

The Menschen Fuer Menschen Foundation – Karlheinz Böhm’s Ethiopia Aid is a public foundation under Ethiopian law. It was registered with the Ministry of Justice under file number 1147/2004 and has been recognized as a non-profit organization. The foundation focuses on sustainable development in Ethiopia through integrated rural development projects.

Position 1: Junior Office Engineer

Qualifications:

  • B.Sc. in Civil Engineering
  • CGPA: 3.00 and above
  • Fresh Graduate of 2023/24 or 2022/23 Academic Year

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Check payments submitted by the project office.
  • Prepare payment certificates.
  • Process progress and contract reporting as per guidelines.
  • Analyze engineering estimates for project implementation.
  • Record laboratory tests for construction materials.

Required Documents:

Position 2: Management Assistant

Qualifications: MA or MBA in Project Planning or Business Administration
Work Experience: Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Management Assistant or Program Assistant or similar roles.
Gender: Female

Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Professional knowledge, ethics, and self-motivation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in speaking and writing Amharic, English, German, or any other foreign language.

Salary: Negotiable
Terms of Employment: Yearly renewable contract
Duty Station: Program Coordination Office, Addis Ababa

Position 3: Senior Accountant

Qualifications: MA in Accounting and Finance or related field.
Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven work experience in an international humanitarian organization as a Finance Head or Senior Accountant (experience with IPSAS and ERP systems is an advantage).

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Dedication, integrity, and professional ethics.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reports.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Salary: Negotiable (based on performance)
