MCG Construction PLC invites qualified and experienced professionals to apply for multiple positions for its ongoing and upcoming construction projects in Addis Ababa. The company is looking for committed candidates who can contribute to efficient project execution, quality control, safety, and administration at project sites. All positions are full-time and based at project locations.
1. Office Engineer Head
Quantity: 2
The Office Engineer Head will be responsible for overall office engineering activities at the project site, including technical documentation, coordination, and reporting. Applicants must hold a Second Degree or First Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, with 8–9 years of relevant work experience in construction projects.
2. Construction Engineer
Quantity: 2
The Construction Engineer will oversee site execution, ensure compliance with drawings and specifications, and coordinate daily construction activities. Candidates must have a Second Degree or First Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields, with 8 years and above total experience, including at least 4 years specifically as a Construction Engineer on building projects.
3. Chief Surveyor
Quantity: 2
The Chief Surveyor will manage surveying activities, setting out works, and ensuring accuracy of measurements on site. Applicants should hold a Second Degree or First Degree in Civil Engineering or Surveying, with 8–9 years of relevant professional experience in construction projects.
4. Project Administration Head
Quantity: 2
The Project Administration Head will handle administrative operations, compliance, and coordination related to environmental health and occupational safety requirements. Candidates must have a First Degree in Environmental Health & Occupational Safety or a related field, with 6–8 years of experience in similar roles.
5. Office Engineer
Quantity: 2
The Office Engineer will support technical documentation, quantity tracking, and coordination between site and office teams. Applicants should have a First Degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering, with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
6. Junior Environmentalist
Quantity: 3
The Junior Environmentalist will assist in implementing environmental management plans and monitoring site compliance. Candidates must hold a First Degree in Environmental Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of work experience.
7. Junior Safety Officer
Quantity: 2
The Junior Safety Officer will support workplace safety implementation, inspections, and reporting at the project site. Applicants should have a First Degree in Environmental Health & Occupational Safety or a related field, with 3 years of relevant experience.
