Legal Compliance Officer

Job Purpose
To ensure the Bank’s full compliance with national laws, regulatory directives, and internal policies. The role minimizes regulatory risk by monitoring adherence across business units and strengthening the Bank’s compliance culture.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assess compliance risks and prepare regular compliance reports
  • Ensure all departments follow NBE directives, laws, and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor adherence to internal policies, procedures, and standards
  • Provide training and guidance on compliance obligations
  • Identify compliance gaps and recommend corrective actions
  • Support the Bank in maintaining strong governance and risk control practices

Qualification

  • LLB Degree in Law
  • Minimum of 7 years relevant compliance or legal experience
