Legal Advisor

Job Purpose
To deliver high-level legal counsel to the Bank, oversee legal compliance, and review key contracts, agreements, and policies. The role ensures that the Bank’s operations align with national laws and regulatory standards while providing strategic legal insights to senior leadership.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Provide expert legal opinions to senior management

Review, draft, and negotiate contracts and agreements

Ensure Bank-wide compliance with national laws and regulations

Advise departments on legal interpretations and regulatory matters

Support the development and review of internal policies and procedures

Identify potential legal risks and recommend preventive measures

Qualification

LLB Degree in Law

Minimum of 7 years relevant legal experience
