Job Summary
The Key Account Manager – Carriers will be responsible for onboarding, activating, and retaining transporters and fleet owners on the Trucksload platform. The role focuses on ensuring adequate carrier supply, sustained engagement, and balanced supply-demand conditions to support platform growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and onboard individual truck owners, fleet operators, and transport companies.
Support carrier registration, verification, and first bidding activity.
Educate carriers on platform rules, pricing logic, and expectations.
Build strong relationships with active carriers and fleet owners.
Drive repeat participation and increase loads per active carrier.
Monitor carrier engagement and address non-operational participation issues.
Ensure adequate carrier coverage to meet shipper demand.
Collect carrier feedback to improve adoption and platform usage.
Track onboarding, activation, and retention KPIs and maintain accurate records.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Management, Business Management, Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in logistics, transport operations, or carrier management.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of trucking and freight markets.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to influence adoption and engagement in a fast-paced environment.
