Provides emergency response, ambulance and first aid, family reunification, essential drugs, water and sanitation, and other humanitarian services.

Operates through Regional Offices, Zonal and Woreda Branches, and community-level Red Cross committees.
Works in partnership with the Ethiopian Government, IFRC, ICRC, partner National Societies, volunteers, and communities.
Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Talent Acquisition and HR Administration Manager, the Human Resources Expert supports planning, budgeting, and implementation of HR activities.
Responsible for recruitment processes, personnel records management, payroll attendance processing, disciplinary and grievance handling, social security follow-up, and employee administration matters.
Provides HR administration support to branches and reports outcomes accordingly.
Duties and Responsibilities
Participate in planning, budgeting, and implementation of HR unit activities
Receive, check, and register job application documents and support recruitment and selection processes
Compile and organize employees’ personal file data for HR administration purposes
Update applicants on recruitment status and unmet requirements
Process attendance data for payroll and personnel action purposes
Facilitate and participate in investigations of disciplinary cases and grievances
Follow up social security matters in accordance with national regulations
Receive and process personal claims, appeals, and complaints from employees
Handle employment formalities, leave management, and contract termination clearance
Schedule employee leave based on assessed supporting data
Prepare and compile HR statistical data and employee entitlement records
Ensure completeness and proper handling of personnel files
Liaise with insurance and medical service providers
Assist in organizing employee welfare, safety, and recreation services
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Human Resource Manager
Qualifications
Second or First Degree in one of the following fields:
Human Resource Management
Personnel Management
Management
Public Administration
Business Management
Business Administration
Experience
4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in human resource management or administration
