Overview:
The Government of Brunei Darussalam invites international students (excluding Bruneian citizens) to apply for the Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2026. This fully funded scholarship is available for undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma programs. IELTS is not required. Programs will begin in July or August 2026. The scholarship is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brunei and is available at five top Bruneian universities. English proficiency will be assessed during an interview.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to all international applicants (excluding Bruneian citizens)
- Maximum age: 25 for undergraduate and diploma programs; 35 for postgraduate master’s programs
- Must be fluent in English

How to Apply:
Applicants should complete the online Scholarship Application Form. To obtain an OTP, go to the official portal, select “THE GOVERNMENT OF BRUNEI DARUSSALAM SCHOLARSHIP FOR FOREIGN STUDENTS TENABLE IN BRUNEI DARUSSALAM (BDGS) ACADEMIC SESSION 2026/2027”, and enter your email. Once the OTP is verified, the full application form will open.

- There is no application fee for admission or scholarship
- Admission and scholarship are evaluated together in a single process
