Job Summary
Walia Steel Industry is seeking a skilled General Mechanic and Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment. The role ensures uninterrupted production and the safe operation of machinery.
Job Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machines and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, motors, and control panels.
Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently.
Maintain maintenance records and report equipment breakdowns.
Support production teams during equipment failures.
Comply with safety and maintenance procedures.
Job Requirements
Education
TVET Level III/IV or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing facilities.
Skills and Competencies
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of industrial machines and electrical systems.
Ability to read basic electrical and mechanical drawings.
Good teamwork and problem-solving skills.
