East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, invites passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Financial Accountant, based at the Addis Ababa Plant.
Key Purpose Statement
Responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial records through accurate accounting, timely reporting, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The role ensures all financial transactions are properly recorded and analyzed to support effective decision-making, budgeting, and cost control, contributing to the company’s financial stability and strategic growth.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting – Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements per IFRS, manage financial close processes, and support audits.
Asset and Capital Management – Maintain fixed asset registers, oversee capital expenditure, and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Payables Management – Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments, reconcile accounts, and maintain compliance with internal policies.
Receivables Management – Oversee timely collections, monitor customer accounts, and ensure accuracy in receivable records.
Taxation and Compliance – Ensure tax compliance, review tax computations, and support import/export regulatory requirements.
Governance and Controls – Implement internal controls aligned with SOX and IFC standards, and drive process efficiency.
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management – Collaborate with finance and operations teams, and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
People & Performance Management – Foster accountability, integrity, and provide coaching to finance team members.
Skills, Experience & Education
BA Degree in Accounting and Finance
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance (including financial accounting, payables, fixed assets, and receivables management)
General Requirement
Applicants must be Ethiopian nationals.
