Position Summary
Kinvia is seeking a reliable and proactive Driver/Liaison Officer to join its Ethiopia team. The position is responsible for the safe transportation of staff and goods, and for providing administrative, logistical, and liaison support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain Kinvia vehicles, ensuring all documentation and servicing are current.
- Support logistics and procurement activities, including transport of goods and coordination of supplies.
- Liaise with government offices, service providers, and suppliers to process permits and official requirements.
- Assist with office operations, equipment setup, mail handling, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with Kinvia’s policies, including Child Safeguarding and PSEA standards.
- Represent Kinvia professionally with partners and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Completion of secondary school (Grade 12 preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of driving and logistics experience.
- Valid 3rd Grade (or higher) driver’s license.
- Experience in logistics, procurement, or liaison roles—preferably within an NGO.
- Good knowledge of child safeguarding and ethical conduct.
- Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel).
- Effective communication in English and Amharic or Afaan Oromoo.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
