Position: Distribution Supervisor

The Distribution Supervisor will supervise the distribution and implementation of all WFP activities at the woreda level, working closely with program teams, commodity staff, and stakeholders. The role ensures proper management of food commodities according to minimum standards and leads planning and implementation of food distributions to project participants in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee food distribution planning and implementation at woreda level
- Supervise commodity teams at woreda level to ensure best practices in storage and distribution
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and data related to WFP activities
- Engage with communities, conduct needs assessments, and build capacity
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination and effective implementation
- Maintain respectful and professional interaction with communities and team members
Qualifications & Experience
- BA/BSc Degree or Diploma in Agricultural Economics, Disaster Management, Rural Development, or Economics & Development Studies
- 1–3 years of relevant professional experience
- Languages: Amharic, English, Somali (Af Soomaali)
- Willingness to work in SC, OTP, FDP, and IDP centers
- Skills: Relationship-building, team building, project management, collaboration, and accountability
