Compliance Officer

East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, invites passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Compliance Officer, based in Addis Ababa. The successful candidate will report directly to the Country Lead – Compliance.
Key Purpose
Ensure the organization operates in full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements by proactively managing risks, strengthening internal controls, and fostering a culture of ethics and accountability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Conduct regular risk assessments and ensure timely closure of mitigation actions.
Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal requirements, identifying gaps and recommending improvements.
Support process owners with control self-assessments and ensure timely, objective reviews.
Carry out compliance and audit checks, track action plans, and drive closure of findings.
Build awareness of policy updates, regulatory changes, and promote a culture of ethics and accountability.
Safeguard the company’s reputation and drive sustainable, compliant business operations.
Skills, Experience & Education
First Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, or related field of study
Minimum of 5 years of auditing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
ACCA/CIA certification is highly advantageous
Experience in compliance, internal control, and internal audit
General Requirement
Applicants must be Ethiopian nationals.
