Job Description
Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Industrial Mechanic. This role plays a critical part in maintaining essential mechanical systems that support airline operations.
The Assistant Industrial Mechanic will support the installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial mechanical equipment.
The position requires involvement in maintaining oxygen generation plants and related mechanical systems to ensure continuous and safe operation.
The role includes monitoring equipment performance and identifying mechanical issues before they escalate into major faults.
The selected candidate will assist senior technicians and engineers in preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.

Educational Qualification
Applicants must possess a minimum of College Diploma, 10+3, or Level IV Certificate from a recognized TVET institution or college.
Fields of study may include Industrial Metal Fabrication and Assembly, Machining, Power Generation and System Installation and Maintenance – Mechanical, Industrial Electric Machine and Drive Technology, or related disciplines under the new or old curriculum.
All academic credentials must be issued by recognized institutions and presented during registration.
Work Experience
A minimum of one year of relevant experience in the operation and maintenance of oxygen generation plants is required.
Practical experience in industrial mechanical systems, plant operations, or equipment servicing will be considered an advantage.
Candidates with experience in structured industrial environments will have added benefit.
Required Skills and Competencies
