Abay Bank S.C. invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions. Abay Bank has fulfilled all the necessary requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia to set up a bank and was officially established on July 14th, 2010, and started full-fledged banking operations on November 4, 2010.

The Bank is poised to serve all economic sectors through its network of branches. It extends its services to domestic trade and services, international trade, agriculture, industry, transportation, construction, and real estate sectors.

Available Positions

1. Customer Service Officer – III
Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or other business-related field of study with 3 years of work experience in banking operations.
Place of Work: Branches under Adama & Hawassa District.

2. Customer Service Supervisor – Grade – 1
Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance or business-related field of study with a minimum of 5 years of experience in banking operations.
Place of Work: Bale Robe Branch.

3. Senior Office Engineer
Required Education and Experience: BSc degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Technology and Management/related field with a minimum of 7 years total experience in supervision and Contract Administration works out of which 3 years of senior level experience as Office Engineer, Contract Administration Engineer/Project Coordinator/related assignments. Experience with Design-build Projects is preferred.
Place of Work: Head Office.

4. Principal IT Risk Officer
Required Education and Experience: Minimum B.Sc. in Computer Science/Information Technology or other related fields with 6 years work experience in related jobs of which 1 year at senior officer level.
Place of Work: Head Office.

5. Branch Manager – Grade – 2
Required Education and Experience: BA Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration or other business-related field of study with 6 years work experience in banking operations, out of which 2 years in supervisory positions.
Place of Work: Mekele Branch.

6. Driver
Required Education and Experience: 10th – 12th grade complete and 3rd grade driving license with a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
Place of Work: Head Office & Debre Birhan District.
