Position Overview
The Procurement Assistant will support PINโ€™s field operations by ensuring efficient and compliant procurement processes. The role involves close collaboration with the logistics and finance departments, market assessments, supplier management, and supporting emergency procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Logistics: Receive and approve purchase requests and prepare RFQs to suppliers based on the Annual Procurement Plan, ensure compliance with PIN procurement procedures, distribute, collect, and compile quotations, purchase orders, and contracts, conduct local market assessments and support field logistics officers, track PRs and manage procurement documentation for audits, monitor quality of procured items and supplier performance.

Finance Coordination: Collaborate with the finance department to settle supplier invoices and ensure accuracy and compliance in all procurement-related payments.

Accountability & Safeguarding: Implement PINโ€™s Code of Conduct and safeguarding policies, including the prevention of SEAH, and maintain a protective and professional environment for colleagues and communities.

General Duties: Maintain confidentiality of PIN operations and documents, take responsibility for entrusted materials and assets, and perform other duties as required.

Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelorโ€™s degree in Procurement & Contract Management, Supply Chain Management, or related fields, minimum 2 years of relevant experience, strong coordination, communication, and time management skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), fluent in English and Amharic, 3 professional references.
