Positive Action for Development (PAD) is recruiting a qualified Project Logistics, Admin, and Finance Officer (LAF) for its Malala Fund Girls’ Education Project in Wara Jarso, Degem, and Kuyu woredas. The position plays a key role in managing financial operations, logistics, procurement, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and compliant project implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage financial operations, ensuring compliance with PAD’s financial and procurement policies.
Prepare and process payments, manage bank accounts, and maintain proper financial documentation.
Ensure timely payments of government taxes, staff payroll, and supplier invoices.
Support budgeting, financial reporting, and external audit preparations.
Manage procurement processes, property administration, and inventory records.
Coordinate human resource support, vehicle management, and logistics operations.
Provide guidance and technical support to junior finance and admin staff.
Ensure internal control systems are properly implemented and maintained.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in finance and administration, preferably with NGOs or INGOs.
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Peachtree, or ERP systems).
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and procurement standards.
Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
Fluency in English and local languages (Amharic and Oromiffa).
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and travel to field sites when required.
