East Africa Bottling S.C., a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Beverages Africa and the exclusive bottler of Coca-Cola products in Ethiopia, invites passionate and qualified candidates to apply for the position of Country Lead People & Culture – Commercial and Support, based in Addis Ababa. The role reports directly to the Country People & Culture Director.

Key Purpose Statement
Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the People & Culture (P&C) function within the commercial and support divisions. The role ensures effective implementation of P&C strategies, policies, and programs that enhance business performance, talent development, and employee engagement. It works closely with business leaders to deliver people solutions, foster a high-performance culture, and align workforce capabilities with organizational goals.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Business Partnership, Leadership, and Governance – Implement HR strategy, ensure compliance with labor laws, and guide leaders on best practices.
Accelerating Talent – Drive talent development, use data-driven insights for recruitment, and promote internal growth and succession planning.
Cost Ownership – Ensure financial accountability, streamline operations, and align reward strategies with governance standards.
Organizational Design for Growth – Lead initiatives for organizational efficiency, change management, and team effectiveness.
High-Performance Culture and Transformation – Build a culture of excellence, integrate learning and development, promote diversity and inclusion, and enhance employee engagement.

Skills, Experience & Education
BA Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum of 8 years of HR experience in both operational and corporate environments, including at least 3 years in a leadership role

Key Competencies
Strategic and operational leadership, talent management, change management, data-driven decision-making, business acumen, digital transformation, and diversity and inclusion advocacy.
